About Me

I am a French native from the Rhône-Alpes region in France. After earning my degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language, I moved to the United States to share my love for the French language and culture.
For eight years, I worked in Washington, D.C. at a renowned language school, serving as both a professional French teacher and the Director of French Studies. During this time, I taught hundreds of students, designed customized programs, and trained teachers in effective methodologies.
That experience inspired me to create my own tutoring services, where I can bring my personal vision of language learning to life. Today, I am based in Phoenix, Arizona, where I work with students across the U.S. and internationally.

Learning with me

When you learn French with me, you receive more than just lessons—you receive guidance, encouragement, and practical tools to help you succeed. I believe language learning should feel dynamic, enjoyable, and relevant to your goals.
I work with learners of all ages and levels:
Beginners who want to build strong foundations.
Intermediate learners looking to gain confidence in conversation.
Advanced students perfecting their fluency and cultural knowledge.
Whether you want to travel, prepare for exams, grow professionally, or simply enjoy the beauty of the French language, I will design lessons that fit your unique objectives.

My Method

My teaching style is interactive, fun, and natural. I use a communicative approach, which research in linguistics has shown to be the most effective way to learn a new language.
This method focuses on the practical side of learning—speaking, listening, and practicing real-life situations—so you can start using French in meaningful ways right away.
I also believe in the power of repetition, the same way we learned our native language. By revisiting vocabulary and structures in different contexts, you’ll naturally absorb the language and build lasting fluency.
The result? Learning French becomes effective, enjoyable, and motivating.

The Material

I designed my own workbooks for beginning to Advanced levels that I use in class with adult students. With children, my apporach is different because kids need o have a lot more fun while they learn. I use various methods, icluding Les Loustics, lots of online resources, videos, games, drawings, songs, etc…
